Rene Morrow log:

Rene Morrow

Rene Morrow

High School: Carlisle High School, Pennsylvania

Graduation Year: 2015

Position: Defense

College Choice: Millersville University

Club Affiliation: Xtreme Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors: Started as a freshman, Defensive player of the year as a Freshman and Sophomore

What will you major in/study? Criminology

Why did you choose Millersville? “I chose Millersville because I knew it was where I belonged. I fell in love with the campus, and everything it offered to me as a student. Also the student pride was outstanding and I already felt like it was home. I was immediately drawn to the ambitious lacrosse program and I loved that because right then I knew they were a hardworking team. I had no doubt I’d grow the most as a student athlete at Millersville.”

Outlook for your High School team? “We lost some great seniors but I have a good feeling about our underclassmen stepping up to fill those spots. I’m confident that our team will work to our full potential and accomplish many goals this year.”

Additional Comments: “Most importantly, thank you to my parents for always believing in me on and off the field. Also for being there every step of the way and helping me fulfill my full potential. I wouldn’t have been the player or person I am today if it weren’t for either of you. Another thanks to my brothers and also my sister for dealing with the countless car rides and also for all of those backyard plays.

“Thank you to all of my coaches who have made me into the lacrosse player I am today. I want to thank my High School coaches Eric Hiu, and Troy Getz for always being there to encourage me as a player and help me become better.

“A special thanks to Mark Pinkerton for molding me into the lacrosse player I am today and helping me through this process. I couldn’t thank you enough for all you’ve taught me. Thanks to everyone and all of my teammates throughout the years, love you all!”
