Women’s lacrosse: Philly girls help No. 3 Syracuse roll to 21-7 win over Jacksonville in opener

Philly girls helped Syracuse open the 2014 college season Tuesday by routing host Jacksonville, 21-7.

Senior Amy Cross (Upper Dublin) had two goals and a groundball for the Orange while senior defender Kasey Mock (Pottstown) had two groundballs and a caused turnover while sophomore Kelly Cross (Upper Dublin) contributed three groundballs, two draw controls and a caused turnover.

No. 3 Syracuse is back in action on Friday, Jan. 24 when it faces Stetson at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at 7 p.m.
