Colin Gavigan

High School: Germantown Academy

Graduation Year: 2014

Position: Midfielder

College Choice: Muhlenberg College

Club Affiliations: Philly Elite (LB3), Bucks Select

Major lacrosse honors: 2 GA Varsity Letters

Why did you choose Muhlenberg? “I was drawn to Muhlenberg early on in the recruiting process because it seamed like a really good fit for me both academically and for lacrosse. Through the ups and downs of the recruiting process it was the one school that I always came back to. After my visit Muhlenberg struck me as a place that I could feel really comfortable at and I think it was that feeling that eventually made me choose Muhlenberg.”

Additional Comments: “Throughout my seven years at GA one of the few constants has been lacrosse. Every school year I look forward to the start of the spring season, and now in my Senior year I look forward to it more than ever. Last year our inexperience on the offensive side of the ball caused us to struggle at times but with the majority of our team returning this year I think we have the chance to make this a great season for GA lacrosse.”

Other schools considered: Skidmore, Ursinus, Catholic, Drew
