Graduation year:

Position:
Midfield

College choice: Jacksonville

Club affiliation:
Ultimate Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors:
2013 Starter as a Freshman, 2013 All-Catholic Academies, 2013 All-Main Line Honorable Mention

What will you major in/study:
College of Health Sciences – School of Nursing

Why did you choose school: “When I visited Jacksonville, I knew right away it was the right fit for me as a student-athlete. The coaching staff, Coaches Paul & Mindy McCord and Coach Sarah Gallion, have built an impressive program over the last few years and I love their fast-paced style of play. It’s a great family environment and the players were so welcoming. Overall, I’m able to pursue Nursing and continue to play lacrosse at the next level at a great University with the best support and coaching. Also, nothing better than being in Florida!”

Outlook for your high school team: “We have a great group of senior leaders on the team this year as well as a strong group of underclassmen. With this balance, our goal is to win the Catholic Academies League and advance far into the post season/state playoffs.”

Other comments:
“I would like to give a big thanks to my parents for supporting me through the process and driving me to all my games and tournaments. Thanks to my brother, Andrew, who motivated me to follow in his footsteps to play Division I lacrosse.

“I really want to thank and appreciate Coach Jen Duckenfield, who taught me so much and helped me develop into the player I am today. I also want to thank Michele DeJuliis for her advice and support through the recruiting process.

“Finally, I would like to thank my Merion Mercy Coach, John Geary, for giving me great opportunities to contribute as an underclassman and for all of his support and encouragement over the last year.”
