This past weekend Malvern Prep fielded “Friars Lacrosse” a Middle School team that won the 8th grade Division of the Brandywine Lacrosse Classic. The event took place at the Brandywine Polo Fields in Toughkenamon, PA.
While Friars Lacrosse played in the 8th grade Division the team was comprised of 6th-8th graders. The team played 4 games and capped a long but victorious day (4-0) with an 11-8 win over Valley Select in the Championship game.

Game #3, Friars Lacrosse 6 vs. Pittsburgh Select (PA) 5
Championship , Friars Lacrosse 11 vs. Valley Select Lacrosse (PA) 8
The team consisted of Jimmy Gabrielsen, Willy Pettit, Cameron Battisti, Zach Hurchalla, Ed King, Stowe Milhous, Seamus Glynn, Colin Price, TJ Malone, Mike Harrington, Charlie Schappell, Greg Hanna, Will Ciccarelli, Dalton Pascale, John Schorn, Quinn McCahon, Jeff Royall, Connor O’Neill and Jack Coogen. The coaches were Steve Holmes and Todd MacFarlane.
