Wednesday’s girls’ HS roundup: Haverford wins in NC; Agnes Irwin tops Hill

Hannah Breslin scored the game-winner on an 8-meter off a key draw control by Tess Horan as Haverford High claimed an 11-10 victory Wednesday over host Norfolk Academy (NC).

Olivia Martin had the game-tying goal and led the Fords (2-1) with three goals and an assist. Horan also had a key groundball that helped the Fords salt the game in the final minutes
Norfolk fell to 6-2.

Agnes Irwin 18, Hill School 10

Freshman Hannah Keating had seven goals and two assists and freshman Laura Pansini added five goals and an assists to power the Owls (2-0).

Souderton 11, Central Bucks East 10

Amber Lambeth had three goals and two assists and Natalie Bulgier had three goals and an assist for the Indians.

Central Bucks West 17, Pennridge 8

Amanda Gundlach and Sarah Gebre each had four goals and an assist for CB West.

Jordan Rimmer and Leah Alcott each scored a pair of goals to lead the Rams.

North Penn 13, Central Bucks South 4

Junior Kaitlin Suzuki led the Maidens with five goals and one assist, and teammate Lauren Green added the hat trick. Jenna Stover was credited with 10 saves.

Cheltenham 21, Plymouth Whitemarsh 15

Gabby Szczepanek, scored 10 goals and assisted on two others to lead the Lady Panthers to the win. Teammates Allison Hawkins (five goals, two assists) and Sammie McManus (four goals) also had big days for Cheltenham.

The Colonials were led by the five-goal effort of Morgan Nagy.

Villa Maria Academy 18, Sacred Heart 2

Catherine Bendinelli had four goals and two assists and Megan Parsons had four goals and one assist to lead Villa in the catholic Academies win.

Mount St. Joseph 17, Nazareth Academy 0

Olivia Gannon had two goal and four assists and Meg McCabe two goals and three assists for the Mount in the Catholic academies shutout.

Owen J. Roberts 16, Methacton 11

Devin Hassinger had six goals and one assist to lift Owen J. Roberts.

Ellie Schmidt had five goals for Methacton.

Upper Perkiomen 12, Pottsgrove 6

The Indians captured the PAC-10 opener as Morgan Rynn and Devon Kriebel combined for 7 goals.
Leading the way for the Falcons (1-1 overall) with two goals apiece were Ceirra Walton and Kiah

Kennett 13, Kennard-Dale 11

Toni Massetti scored four goals and notched the 100th of her career for the Blue Demons (2-0).

Unionville 14, Patterson Mills (Md.) 6

Rachel Hughes had four goals and Katie Garvey three for the Indians in their victory.

Concord (DE) 10, Ailexis I. DuPont (DE) 9

Heather Estle had five goals and Quinh Troung and Madeline Davis each had two for the Lady Raiders in their victory. Elizabeth Shields recorded five goals for A.I. DuPont.

Caravel 21, Newark 10

Six goals by Olivia Duarte, four by Samantha Ringler, and three each by Isabelle Orticelle and Lauren Phillips paced the Lady Bucs of Caravel.

For the Lady Jackets, Shanwa Chopko and teammate Kayla Wehry each contributed with three goals.

Polytech 21, Christiana 0

Jenna Hayes had four goals and Kristin Wissler, Addie Stang and Katie Richardson added three apiece for Polytech. and contributed to this article
