Tuesday’s boys’ roundup: Downingtown East, Shanahan, Penn Charter, Radnor win

Kyle Lauletta erupted for six goals and Brandyn O’Connell added a goal and three assists Tuesday as host Downingtown East defeated Springfield-Delco, 10-7, in non-league boys’ lacrosse.

Justin Risser won 15 of 21 faceoffs for the Cougars (1-1), and Mike Risser had a goal and two assists.

Glenn McCarry had three goals for Springfield and Lucas Spence had two goals and an assist.

Upper Dublin 7, Wissahickon 3

Mike Sowers had two goals and two assists and Mike Rama added two goals and an assist for the Cards in the Suburban One American victory.

Drew Potts added two goals and Jack Deragon made 11 saves for Upper Dublin.

Upper Merion 20, Norristown 5

Trevor Kupecky had a goal and dished off an amazing 10 assists and Mikey Zadroga had four goals and three assists as the Vikings won the Suburban One contest.

Plymouth-Whitemarsh 8, Upper Moreland 4

Jake Brown had two goals and two assists fand John Walker scored three goals while Brett Kaplan and Corey Kelly combined to win 14 of 16 face-offs and Riley white made 12 saves for the Colonials in their Suburban One victory.

Bishop Shanahan 12, Perkiomen Valley 3

John Mehok had four goals and Dylan Alderman and Jack Oakes scored two goals each for the Eagles (2-0).

Anthony Wagner (six saves) and Sam Gindhart (five) combined for 11 saves in goal for BS.

Kris Boyd had two goals and Bryce Womack made 16 saves for PV.

Penn Charter 13, Archbishop Wood 5

The Quakers (3-3) got three goals and two assists from Dean Roseman and three goals each from James and Ray Vandegrift while Charles Giunta had five groundballs and Sean McKee made 17 saves in goal.

Chris Rahill led Wood with a goal and three groudnballs.

Radnor 9, Pennsbury 3

Alex Manderack scored four goals and Tom Hemcher had a goal and three assists for the Red Raiders (2-0), who won 14 of 15 face-offs.

Phil Jutkiewicz had 13 saves for Pennsbury

Souderton 7, North Penn 6

Souderton (3-0) overcame a 5-3 halftime deficit as Tyler Macdougall (2 goals, 2 assists) and Cameron Trick (2 goals) led the attack and Remi Reeves (13 saves), Hunter McGowan (1 goal) and Chris Malanga paced the defense.

Adam Wreath had four goals and Chris Burr made 15 saves for the Knights.

Lower Merion 14, West Chester East 4

Chris Daly pumped in six goals and had two assists, Craig Markman had three goals and an assist and Evan Wolf scored three to pace the Aces (1-1).

Unionville 11, Harriton 7

Chris Baker stood out in goal and Matt Stewart had three goals and two assists whle Patch Johnson added two goals and three assists for Unionville.
