St. Xavier High School (OH) senior defenseman Chandler Todd has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Haverford College.

Chandler Todd log:

Chandler Todd (Right, #25)

High School: St. Xavier High School (OH)

Graduation Year: 2014

Position: Close Defender

College Choice: Haverford College

Club Affiliation: Titanium Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors: Brine National Lacrosse Classic All-Star Team, Under Armor All-American Uncommitted Games, Jake Reed 3D Blue Chip, and 2nd Team All-Southwest Ohio, “Fine 15” from the Under Armor All-American Uncommitted games

Academic honors, service projects: First and Second Honors, Co-leader for schools Canned Food Drive, Sophomore Homeroom leadership position

What will you major in/study? Aerospace Engineering

Why did you choose Haverford? “It is the perfect combination of great academics and good lacrosse, along with a great coach, a good team atmosphere and an amazing campus, it made it hard not to choose. The academics really pushed me there because in the long run, having a good education will be important.”

What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “The past lacrosse season was a great one. I was surrounded by one of the best senior classes I could ask for with one Under Armor All-American in Ian King (Michigan). The playoffs where a bit of a let down but still a great team. This season should be interesting after losing such a strong senior class last year. I do however feel that we can still make it very far in the playoffs.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my parents for supporting me through the whole process. I would also like to thank Titanium Lacrosse for the help they gave me during the summer. Finally, my head lacrosse coach Nate Sprong for the guidance that he gave during the process.”
