Club Affiliation: Select Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: Blue Chip 225, Top 205, 2012 Bucks County Keystone Team, Philly Showcase Fab40 All-Star 2012

What will you major in/study? International Studies

Why did you choose Robert Morris? “After looking at a lot of schools, Robert Morris University is a place where I know I can grow both academically and athletically. It’s a perfect fit for me. They have a great new business school that offers international studies.

“The entire coaching staff at RMU was great. Coach (Andrew) McMinn (Head Coach) and Coaches Dane Smith, Jordan Sealock and the staff have created a great family culture, play in the competitive Northeast Conference and are committed to rising in the Division 1 lacrosse ranks. After having a chance to spend some time with the guys, I knew RMU was the place for me.”

Outlook for your High School team? “I know CB East will have another strong season this year. Even though we lost a few great seniors that went on to play Division 1 lacrosse, our team is strong at every position and we really play well together. We continue to put a lot of focus on conditioning and we’ve been working hard all winter. I’m sure it will pay off. The coaches have all been pushing the guys really hard and have put together a great schedule this year.”

Additional Comments: “I first want to thank my family (my parents and my brother Ryan) for supporting me all the way. I want to thank Coach Bill Bitzer for making me quit baseball to focus on lacrosse. He showed me how to love the game.

“A big thanks to Coach Brian Zappala who put his faith in me and taught me the lacrosse fundamentals I have today.

“Thanks to CBAA lacrosse, the best youth program around! Thanks to my Bucks Select coaches, Mike McGowan, Mike Steigerwald and Trip Fisher for pushing me every summer all summer.

“Thanks to all my high school coaches who pushed me and prepared me to reach my potential. Thanks to CB East Head Coach Bruce Garcia, Coaches Rich Garcia, Jim Mithoefer, Todd Forman, Paul McGovern and Eric Trawinski.

“Thank You, we have a lot of lacrosse to play and I look forward to a great season!”
