St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) freshman LSM/defenseman Tyler “Gooch” Senerchia has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Bucknell University.

What will you major in/study? Economics
Why did you choose the school? “I knew it was the right fit. The rich history of the school and the strong legacy of the lacrosse program was what I was looking for. The Bucknell coaching staff was great to deal with and I am looking forward to playing for them down the road. Academically, Bucknell is one of the top universities in the nation.”
What is your team’s outlook for next season? “As a St. Anthony’s Friar, you know you will be surrounded be excellent players and coaches on every level. I’m pretty confident that our outlook will be bright.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank Coach Chanenchuk (St. Ants); he was the first coach to teach me how to throw and catch a lacrosse ball and has guided me all the way through to the committing process.
