It’s championship week in District 1 as eight remaining teams vie for a title and the six PIAA playoff spots. The most hotly contested games may be Tuesday’s playbacks – Garnet Valley at Strath Haven and Conestoga at Great Valley – as neighboring rivals square off for the final two playoff berths.

1. Moorestown (19-0) Prev: No. 1 – The top-seeded Quakers host Ocean Township today in a South Jersey Group III playoff.

2. Radnor (16-3) Prev No. 2 – The Red Raiders play Central League rival Harriton in the District 1 semifinals Tuesday at Henderson at 5:45 p.m.

3. Springfield-Delco (15-3) Prev: No. 3 – The Cougars meet Boyertown in the District 1 semis Tuesday at Henderson at 4 p.m.

4. Harriton (19-2) Prev: No. 5 – The Rams face Radnor in the district semis at 5:45 p.m. at Henderson.

5. Strath Haven (16-4) Prev: No. 4 – The Panthers must defeat Garnet Valley – the team it fell to in overtime in last year’s state final – on Tuesday to qualify for states.

6. Conestoga (14-4) Prev: No. 6 – The Pioneers must topple Great Valley for the second time this year to make states.

7. Garnet Valley (14-4) Prev: No. 7 – The Jaguars must beat Strath Haven Tuesday in the playbacks to have a shot at defending their two state championships.

8. Archbishop Carroll (14-5) Prev: No. 9 – The Patriots play Cardinal O’Hara today in the Catholic League title game at Neumann (6 p.m.) as they seek their 13th straight crown.

9. Boyertown (20-2) Prev: No. 13 – The Bears tackle Springfield-Delco in the district semis at 4 p.m. at Henderson.

10. Episcopal Academy (13-4) Prev: No. 10 – EA won its ninth straight Inter-Ac League championship with an undefeated mark and opens play today at home vs. Penn Charter in the PA Independent Schools tourney.

11. Cape Henlopen (15-1) Prev: No. 11 – The Vikings play a semifinal game in the state playoffs Wednesday vs. Ursuline.

12. Great Valley (18-3) Prev: No. 8 – The Patriots must down Conestoga Tuesday at home at 7:30 p.m. to reach states.

13. Shawnee (14-2) Prev: No. 13 – The Renegades host Freehold Township in a South Jersey Group IV playoff Tuesday.

14. Friends’ Central (17-2) Prev: No. 15 – The Phoenix won their fourth straight Friends School League championship.

15. Eastern (16-1) Prev: NR – The Vikings host Washington Township in a South Jersey Group IV playoff game Tuesday.
