Outlook for 2013 (your comments):
“The 2013 Perkiomen Valley High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse team has been completely revamped from the ground up adding a new coaching staff, new TEAM philosophy, an off-season player development program, and new offensive and defensive schemes. The Team has picked their leaders naming Sean Cooney, Zach Port, and Sean Tornetta their captains. The defense will have some new faces in front of Bryce Womack but has gotten bigger, faster, stronger, and smarter. We have implemented an entirely new defensive scheme and the boys have worked hard to understand its concepts and how to use them to their advantage. If the defense can gel well together they will be a strong unit for us this season. On offense, we have completed revamped and brought in a new offense that really allows our players to be themselves but still be very effective. Sean Tornetta will be a key part of the offense along with Shawn Dickey and their supporting cast. We hope to see a TEAM offense with contributions from everyone. We have a lot of depth this year at the midfield and attack positions, and have moved pieces around on defense to make us more effective. We are very excited to see how the boys gel with one another and see the progress take shape over the course of the season. We have beefed up our non-conference schedule with the addition of Bishop Shanahan and are very excited to compete with the best teams in the pac-10!”
