“We’re happy that our senior goalie, Matt Barrett (Virginia signee and All-American) is back from his injury (torn ACL during football season). He is a known quantity. His return, coupled with a good defense, puts us in god shape in one end of the field. We have lots of numbers on defense and some strong D-middies.
“We have 17 seniors and 24 returning players. That looks great on paper, but offensively we are still trying to figure out our identity. We want to compete and play hard – that’s our No. 1 goal. The no. 2 goal is to play smart and disciplined.”
