Garnet Valley

Coach: Frank Urso, 4 years

Last Year’s Record: 17-7, (District 1 Championship runner-up)

Key Returnees:
Vail Urso – Midfield (Drexel) – 2nd Team All-Central – 39 Goals and 17 assists since transition to offense
Robert Raucci – Attack (St Joseph) 2nd Team All-Central – 81 goals and 25 assists the last 2 years
Zach Penfil – FOGO (Penn) 2nd Team All-Central – 71% at the X
Jonathan Vandenberg – Midfield (Furman) One of the best D-Mids in the state
Mike Lanham – FOGO (St Joseph) – one two punch at FOG with Penfil
Matt Taulane – Attach (Bellarmine) – Great quickness
Brandon Dowd – Midfield Outstanding Jr.

Key Newcomers:
Jake Matier – Defense (St Joseph)
Dylan Lee – Midfield (Air Force)
Joseph Granahan – Defense

“We lost a few key players in Ryan Lehman and Ryan Guittare on Defense and Jules Raucci on Attack, but we have some strong replacements with some young players on defense. We should be very good in the nets with Mitchell Rose returning and we have a lot of young offensive talent to go along with several key returning seniors. Tough league, great coaches and great players, we will work hard to give everybody a strong challenge.”
