NXTsports announced today that Robin Baxter has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Events. Additionally, in conjunction with the promotion, NXT announced a restructuring under which NXT’s industry leading NXTevents series of national youth lacrosse tournaments and NXT’s Showcase Lacrosse series of elite recruiting events will merge into a single Events division led by Baxter.
Said Andy Hayes, President of NXTsports, “Robin’s work ethic, organizational skills and overall talent have made her an irreplaceable part of NXT, and it is with great pride that we make her our company’s first vice president. Robin has a great team in place, and she will work closely with her colleague Brett Manney, NXT’s Director of Showcase Lacrosse, and the nation’s best recruiter of lacrosse talent, to ensure that all of NXT’s events are the best they can possibly be.”
Robin joined NXT in October of 2012 from Widener University, where she had served as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach since 2006. Baxter also served as Widener’s NCAA Compliance Coordinator, responsible for educating all Widener student-athletes about NCAA rules and compliance requirements.
A native of Delaware County, PA, Baxter graduated magna cum laude from New Hampshire’s Plymouth State University in 2002 where she was a member of the Panthers varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams. She also possesses a Masters in Sport Management from Neumann University. Robin resides in Brookhaven, PA with her husband Jeff, and daughters Campbell and Teagan.
