Senior attackman Paul Major scored his 200th career goal Monday and had four in all to help Spring-Ford to a 9-5 Pioneer Athletic Conference boys’ lacrosse victory over Methacton Monday.
The Rams (3-1, 3-2) used a 5-1 run in the fourth quarter to snap a 4-4 deadlock. Alex Marte added two goals.
Keith White and Michael Del Vecchia each had two goals for the Warriors.
Owen J. Roberts 8, Perkiomen Valley 7
John Pennell had four goals and two assists and Christian Wood made 15 saves to help the Wildcats (4-0, 5-1) stay undefeated in the PAC-10.
Kris Boyd had two goals and three assists for Perkiomen Valley.
Central Bucks South 6, Central Bucks West 5, 2 OT
Tyler Strayline’s second goal (off a feed from Joel Zimmerman) lifted the Titans to the come-from-behind Suburban One American Conference win.
Trailing 5-1 going into the fourth quarter, the Titans (2-1, 4-2) y received goals from Strayline, Tyler McGee, and Zimmerman to chip away at the lead. Finally, with less than a minute to play, Brendan McGrath tied the game, sending it into overtime.
The goalies were standout. Ryan Kelly made 17 saves to pick up the win, while Mike Hardavan was credited with 18 saves in a losing effort, most of them in the second half.
The Bucks received single goals from Jimmy Seykot, Sam Piccone, Riley Kratzke, Corey Schott and Ryan Green.
Upper Dublin 11, Plymouth Whitemarsh 6
Senior Michael Rama had five goals and two assists, while freshman Michael Sowers had one goal and five assists while Ben Winebrake added the hat trick.
Jack Deragon had nine saves for the Flying Cardinals, who improved to 6-0 in the league (6-1 overall).
For the Colonials, Jake Brown had four goals.
