High School: Germantown Friends School

Graduation Year: 2014

Position: Midfield/Attack

College Choice: University of Cincinnati

Club Affiliation: Ultimate Goal Lacrosse

What will you major in/study? Sciences

Why did you choose Cincinnati? “As soon as I walked on to the campus I knew it was the place for me. I love the coaching staff at UC and am excited to help build up the program.

“I am also excited to go to a school where I will be challenged with not only lacrosse but academics. I like that UC is urban, but has a defined campus. Coming from a small school I have always wanted to go to a large school where sports and academics are big. I am so excited get to know my recruited classmates and to be apart of the UC team.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We just had a huge win over Friends Central, it was a really well played game on both ends; but getting that win has motivated us even more to win the Friends League Championship. We have had a few disappointing losses but we have learned and gotten stronger from them.

“I am very excited for the rest of the season and to come out with some more wins against tough opponents and hopefully get our well deserved Friends League Championship.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank DJ, Coach Duckenfield and Coach Pillion for supporting me and giving me advice throughout the whole process. DJ helped me a lot with making sure what I decided was right for me.

“I would also like to thank my High School coach Katie Bergstrom Mark for supporting me throughout the process and giving me advice into making the right decision. My friends also played a huge role in this process by supporting whatever decision I made and helping to make the choice that is best for me. I would most importantly like to thank my Dad for being really supportive throughout the whole process and always cheering me on.”
