Boys’ Youth lacrosse: Lionville wins U13A CCLA title

The Lionville lacrosse U13A team capped an undefeated season by beating a talented Conestoga team in dramatic fashion in the CCLA U13A championship game.

Lionville scored 2 minutes and 18 seconds into overtime as Ethan Bertolami found a cutting Brian Miller open n front to close a 9-8 victory. The game was held at USTC in Downingtown Tuesday night

The Lionville team was led by Jack Traynor, who scored three goals. Midfielder Gavin Tygh won 10 of 13 faceoffs and also scored a goal. Brian Miller added two goals, Bryce Lauletta had one goal and two assists, Ethan Bertolami had one goal and two assists and Cole Stevens scored one goal. Nic Pezone made five saves in goal behind a solid group of defensemen.

Lionville had a record of 18-0-1 overall and 12-0-1 in the CCLA.
