Four players from the Man Up club team have announced their college commitments.
The players are:
* Salesianum School rising senior attackman Jason Kelly, who has committed to Division I St. Joseph’s University. Kelly was named All-American and All-State as well as All-Phillylacrosse.com All-Delaware after scoring 51 goals and adding 24 assists for a Sals team that went 17-2 and won its third straight state championship. Kelly had originally committed to UMBC.
* Malvern Prep rising senior goalie Carson Cocco, who had committed to Division I Quinnipiac. Cocco won all five of his starts this year for Malvern Prep, which won the Inter-Ac League championship.
* Owen J. Roberts rising senior attackman Christopher Antich, who has committed to Division III Washington College. Antich was a Second Team All-PAC 10 pick this year and one of his team’s top scorers.
* Bishop Shanahan rising sophomore LSM/defenseman Ryan McNulty, who has committed to Division I Loyola. McNulty was a Second Team Ches-Mont League pick this year, helping the Eagles share a piece of their first Ches-Mont title. McNulty, who also plays for the Philadelphia Freedom club team, played in the Under Armour Uncommitted Games and was named an All-Star this summer at three tournaments.
ManUp’s mission is to give back through community service. Cocco was one of two Malvern Prep players that last year volunteered in the clean-up efforts after Hurricane Sandy ravaged parts of New Jersey and New York. Click here for article.
