What will you major in/study? Political Science or History

Why did you choose the school? “Holy Cross is the perfect fit for me. It’s a liberal arts school with an undergraduate focus, great academic reputation and beautiful campus. I’ve always wanted to go to college in New England, and I like that it’s near Boston. Coach Jim Morrissey was Patriot League Coach of the Year in 2013, and he’s building a strong foundation along with Coach Justin Hager and Coach John Carroll. I feel fortunate to have the chance to play for these coaches and I look forward to helping Holy Cross improve and contend for a Patriot League title.”

What is your team’s outlook for next season? “I’m excited and optimistic about this year’s team. We have a core of six or seven veterans and a nice mix of talented younger guys. We are working hard and our goals remain the same every year: A Catholic League title and a trip to states.”

Other comments: “I’m especially thankful to Coach Eric Gregg at Prep who’s helped me grow as a player and a person. I’ve also learned so much from the other coaches at St. Joe’s such as Billy McGlone, Kevin Coyle, and Mike Lennon.

“I also appreciate Ebe Helm of Dukes LC who puts in an enormous amount of time helping players like me improve and get to college, and the other Dukes coaches whom I’ve had the pleasure of playing for like Coaches Christmas, Vetrone and Vosburgh.

“I’m thankful for my St. Joe’s and Dukes’ teammates. I’m looking forward to the next few years with you guys.

I also want to thank Mike Wilus for never letting me settle for anything less than the best, Lucas VanEmburg, who’s always up for a work out, and Lou Gonzalez for getting me started.

“My parents have been awesome, and my sister, Kelley, has shown me the way on the field and off.

Other schools considered? “I was fortunate to be able to consider a number of well-respected schools with successful lacrosse programs, such as Villanova, Bucknell, and Lehigh.”
