Miller Place (N.Y.) sophomore midfielder Kristin Roberto has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Penn State University.

Why did you choose school: “I chose Penn State University for its lacrosse and academic reputation. I fell in love with the school spirit and pride that everyone in Penn state has. It is such an honor that I will be a part of this lacrosse program with the amazing coaching staff they have. The large campus and amenities are something I always dreamed of.”

Outlook for your high school team:“We’re building up and improving our skills from last year so we can go even further this year.”
