What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose this school? “The primary reason I chose Lehigh was for its reputation for having an outstanding academic program. I was also attracted to Lehigh’s coaching staff. I love the way coaches (Kevin) Cassese, (Brendan) Callahan, and (Errol) Wilson run their program. The entire coaching staff made me feel welcome as soon as I stepped foot on campus. I would like to be a part of a successful lacrosse program. Lehigh has been a very competitive and successful team the last several years, and I believe the team will only continue to get better in the future. Also, the University is located near my home. It is important to me that my family will be able to attend most of my games. Overall, I am feeling very confident with my decision and looking forward to attending Lehigh University.”

What is your team’s outlook for the season?
“Last year, we were a very young team and still won the Lehigh Valley Conference championship. I am looking forward to seeing how this experience will benefit our team this year. Our entire defense is returning except for one starting close defender. Also, our seniors this year are doing a great job of being leaders. Our team has a lot of motivation to repeat as Lehigh Valley Conference champions, and go even further by winning a district championship. We have two new coaches on staff this year at Parkland in Coach (Tom) Carfagna and Coach (Marcus) Janda. They are really going to help our team improve from last year. I am really looking forward to the upcoming high school season.”

Other comments: “First, I would like to thank my parents for being there for me through the entire recruiting process and always supporting me. I would like to thank Coach Ebe Helm and Coach Jason Christmas from Duke’s Lacrosse Club for guiding me during the recruiting process and teaching me many ways to improve my game. I would also like to thank Coach Schifko and the entire Parkland lacrosse coaching staff for their guidance and encouragement, both on and off the field. My youth coaches played a key role in introducing me to lacrosse and preparing me to play at the varsity level as a freshman.”

Other Schools considered:
Penn State, Maryland, Delaware
