Girls’ recruits: Rausa (Hatboro-Horsham) among signees for Georgetown

Georgetown University Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach Ricky Fried announced the signing of nine student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Thursday. The class will come to the Hilltop in the fall of 2014.

“We’re excited for this class to be coming to Georgetown,” said Fried. “They’ll cover every position and they provide us with talented depth.”

A three-year letterwinner and starter at Hatboro-Horsham High School … Played club with Ultimate Goal Lacrosse … A three-time All-League honoree … Named All-PhillyLacrosse.com, All-Intelligencer and All-American in 2013 … A member of the Maximum Exposure All-Star Team in both 2011 and 2012 … Played for the Philly team in the School Girls Tournament 2011, 2012 and 2013 … Team won its league in 2012 and 2013 also winning the Pennsylvania State Tournament in 2012 … A member of the National Honor Society … On the Student Council and part of the Future Business Leaders of America.
