Why did you choose the school? “There were many factors that contributed to my making a commitment to further my education and play lacrosse at Lehigh University. First, it is close to home. My family will be able to attend games and support the Mountain Hawks. Additionally, Lehigh provides a top-notch education as well as the opportunity to compete for an outstanding lacrosse program with a bright future. Overall, Lehigh satisfied all of my requirements. The University’s atmosphere is outstanding and I loved the feeling I got when I stepped on campus. There is a sense of family between the Lehigh students that made me feel comfortable with the campus. The lacrosse coaching staff, Coach (Kevin) Cassese, Coach (Brendan) Callahan, and Coach (Errol) Wilson, truly cares for every student-athlete and have high hopes for the Mountain Hawks. They have made a significant commitment in building the Lehigh Men’s Lacrosse program into the best it can be. Furthermore, Lehigh offers me the chance to be a better athlete, scholar, and person; I can develop the skills I need to succeed in life. Overall, Lehigh University made me feel at home. I could not be happier with my decision.”

What is your team’s outlook for next season? “We’re young. Losing a handful of seniors last year will challenge younger players to step up and fill positions previously held by elite lacrosse players. Despite being young, I think we have a great chance to win our conference and even a few games in district playoffs. This year’s team is dedicated and motivated, more so than previous years, and that will ultimately drive our success. I am excited to see how things turn out and cannot wait for the season to begin!

Other comments: “The most important people throughout this entire recruiting process were my parents. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. They supported me with every decision and sacrificed a lot of time and energy in order for me to be successful. On top of my parents, I would like to thank my friends and siblings for their support throughout my lacrosse career. I would also like to thank my high school coaching staff, Coach (Kevin) Donnelly and Coach (Kevin) Czapor for pushing me and building me into the lacrosse player I am. I would like to thank the entire Dukes LC organization, especially Coach (Ebe) Helm and Coach (Jason) Christmas, for opening multiple windows of opportunity. Last but not least, I would like to thank Coach (Kacy) Small from 380 lacrosse for introducing me to the game of lacrosse and helping me grow a passion for it.”

Other schools considered? Bryant, Hofstra, Georgetown, UPenn
