In its short time, the Showcase has blossomed into one of the country’s elite exposure events for uncommitted players and its alums have gone on to play at the NCAA Division I, II and III levels.
NXT is proud to announce the rosters for the Showcase (see rosters here). Players will be divided into eight teams, all guided by a top-level local high school coach, and the Showcase’s reach and popularity means that those players will be convening from 13 states, including some as far as Georgia and Washington.
Each team will play in three games, along with a team practice and a skills session led by multiple collegiate All-Americans, and players will also have the opportunity to attend a recruiting discussion led by both high school and college coaches.
The participants are spread out through the 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 graduating classes, so there will be plenty of opportunities for them to prove themselves against some of the country’s rising stars. All games at the Girls Showcase will be professionally filmed from elevated cameras in broadcast-quality HD, with video package available to players.
“Westtown’s facilities give us a great opportunity to be able to showcase talent,” Showcase Director Brett Manney said. “We are very excited about the number of elite players attending this year’s Showcase from all over the country, and with the group of players we already have registered, think the young talent at this year’s Showcase could be the best we’ve ever had.”
Attached is a list of the rosters for the event in both alphabetical and team orders. Less than ten spots remain available for the event for interested players. Visit showcaselacrosse.com to sign up or contact Brett Manney at 610-667-4108 or via email at email@example.com.
