Youth lacrosse: Rising Sons 2019 wins U13A Championship at Brine Indian Summer

The Rising Sons Lacrosse 2019 team won the U13A championship at the Brine Indian Summer tournament on Sunday in Jarrettsville, MD.

RISING SONS CHAMPS - Kyle Gucwa, Sage Garito, Evan Lotz, Julian Grove, Jackson Powers, Champ Doyle, Connor Whalen, Pearse Glavin, Dean Costalas, Tim Mitchell, Connor Donovan, Matthew Civitella, Luke Grayum, Claudio Chieffo, Sean Rushton, Brady McFalls, Colin Pettine, Drew Lopolito, Drew Brown and Jimmy Bevevino. Coaching Staff: Tad Doyle - Director, Mike Garito - Head Coach, Kris Gucwa - Asst Coach, Jeff Lotz - Asst Coach, Maurice Glavin - Asst Coach.

Rising Sons defeated Admirals Cup Lacrosse 5-2 in the title game. Rising Sons enjoyed a commanding 37 “goals for” to only 5 “goals against” through the tournament. With the championship, Rising Sons 2019′s received an invitation to play in the Dick’s Tournament of Champions in Tampa, Florida.

The team included Kyle Gucwa, Sage Garito, Evan Lotz, Julian Grove, Jackson Powers, Champ Doyle, Connor Whalen, Pearse Glavin, Dean Costalas, Tim Mitchell, Connor Donovan, Matthew Civitella, Luke Grayum, Claudio Chieffo, Sean Rushton, Brady McFalls, Colin Pettine, Drew Lopolito, Drew Brown and Jimmy Bevevino. The coaching staff featured Tad Doyle (Director), Mike Garito (Head Coach), Kris Gucwa (Assistant Coach), Jeff Lotz (Assistant Coach) and Maurice Glavin (Assistant Coach).

Rising Sons, based in Southeastern Pa, is a non profit club offering boys year round opportunities to develop their skills by playing with and against the best in the country.
