What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Holy Cross? “I chose Holy Cross because it has a great academic reputation and I felt it was the best fit for me as a student and athlete. Coach (Jim) Morrissey is the reigning Patriot League Coach of the Year, and Assistant Coach (Justin) Hager had a strong showing last season. They have made Holy Cross a contender in the league. I am very excited about the program.”

What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “This past season at Seton Hall Prep was unbelievable. We started off slow, but Coach Giarrusso, Assistant Coaches Gadek, Deriso and Holland and our captains never gave up. They helped us believe we were capable of great things. We rallied together as a team and went on a run. Beating our rival Delbarton, who had just been ranked the number one team in the Nation, in the Non Public A State Semifinal was a huge victory for us. It was disappointing not to make it to the State Championship, but it ended up being a great season overall.

“I am very excited for this upcoming season. Seton Hall Prep has one of the best coaching staffs in the State. I know they will have us ready to go by the start of the lacrosse season. We lost some very good senior players, but there is still a lot of talent on the team. With hard work and a positive attitude we will have a great season.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my Club Coach Chris Roy and Coach Marc Moreau. Coach Roy was extremely helpful during the recruiting process. I would like to thank my High School coach, Coach Giarrusso for all his encouragement and great coaching advice. Finally, I would like to thank my parents for everything they have done to make this opportunity possible.”

Other schools considered: Yale, Umass, St. Joseph’s, Lafayette, Lehigh
