From Press Release

Haverford College will host a men’s lacrosse Fall Ball event on Sept. 28 with Chestnut Hill College and Anne Arundel Community College.

Haverford College, under coach Colin Bathory, went 7-7 last year. Haverford closed the season with a 3-1 record over its final four games. The Fords played against seven nationally-ranked teams in 2013 including four contests on the treacherous Centennial Conference slate.

Head Coach Brian Dougherty and his Griffins welcome all members of Griffin Nation to join them for the next week’s trip to the Main Line.

Finishing strong in 2013, Chestnut Hill won three of their final four contests to finish with 7-6 overall record, a 4-3 standing in the East Coast Conference (ECC), and receiving votes in the final United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Coach’s Poll of the season. Tying with Mercy College for third place in the ECC, the Griffins were honored with a College-record eight student-athletes on the All-ECC Team; including All-ECC First Team selection senior midfielder Michael Duddy (Toms River, N.J.).
