Emmaus senior midfielder Joey DeCaprio has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Marywood.

Joey DeCaprio log:Joey DeCaprio

High school: Emmaus High School

Graduation year: 2014

Position: Midfield

College choice: Marywood

Club affiliation: Emmaus Sting

Major lacrosse honors: UNC Camp All-Star Team

What will you major in/study: Criminal Justice

Why did you choose school: “I was looking for a smaller school with a more rural setting rather than city. Marywood matched up with my specifications for schooling as did the lacrosse program. Everything that Coach (Scott) Dalgliesh implements on and off the field is something that I value in a program and it was just a perfect fit for me.”

Outlook for your high school team: “We are losing some key starters both offensive and defensively, but a huge senior class is filling the graduating one so leadership will not be an issue. The future looks bright.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my highschool/club Coaches (Scott) Ketcham and (JD) Wilson for their help through the recruitment process, as well as my family for all their constant support.”
