From Press Release
Washington College head women’s lacrosse coach Heidi Yetman has announced the hiring of Jessica Rudloff (West Chester East) as an assistant coach on the Shorewomen’s staff. Rudloff completed a collegiate playing career that included three years at Longwood University and a year at Drexel University.
At Longwood, Rudloff led her team to two National Lacrosse Conference (NLC) Championships and was a three-time All-NLC Academic Team and two-time IWLCA Academic Team honoree. In her rookie campaign for the Lancers, she was named Freshman of the Year. She was awarded a spot on the Longwood academic team as a junior. As a senior, she served as co-captain and led the attack in points.
After graduating from Longwood, Rudloff used her final year of eligibility at Drexel in 2013 while pursuing an M.S. in Nutrition at the school. During her year at Drexel, she was an impact player on an attacking unit that led the Dragons to their third Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Playoff appearance in a row. She was also named to the CAA All-Academic Team.
Rudloff brings a variety of experience to the Shorewomen with a background of coaching lacrosse as well as strength and conditioning. She has coached at multiple lacrosse camps including Penn and Villanova, served as an assistant coach to a club lacrosse team, and was a player-coach for Global Players in the Berlin Open and Prague Cup in 2012.
Rudloff helped lead WC East to the Class AAA District 1 championship as a junior and the Ches-Mont League Championship as a sophomore and junior.
Rudloff earned a B.S. in Kinesiology from Longwood in 2012, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and is continuing to pursue an M.S. in Nutrition.
