Why did you choose this school?:
“Choosing Vandy was easy because it had everything I could possibly want in a college. Nashville has such a great atmosphere to go with the campus. Vanderbilt offers amazing academic opportunities but still makes athletics a huge part of the experience. I loved the coaching staff because they seemed like they truly cared about balancing a great education with lacrosse.”

Thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season and 2014 campaign:
“Last season was an unknown from the start because our head coach, Mrs. Zechman, was coming back after being gone on maternity leave my freshman year. Even though we had an extremely young defensive group, we had so many seniors that were able to help lead our team. We won the Group IV State Championship for the first time since 1998 and were able to make it to the TOC final. Even though we graduated a lot of seniors this past season I think we have a ton of potential to go even further next year.”

Other comments:
“I would like to thank my parents and my brother for helping me make this decision. I wouldn’t have been able to visit any colleges or go to SJS tournaments without my mom driving to get me there. I’d also like to thank Coach Seward and Coach Bob, two of the best goalie coaches I could have asked for. They helped me gain the confidence that I needed in the cage and taught me that you do actually have to learn the fundamentals of saving a shot to be successful.”
