Interboro Beach Bucs win Wildwood Beach Lacrosse championship for 2nd time

The Interboro Beach Bucs won the U15 Boys’ Division championship recently at the Morey’s Piers Beach Lacrosse Tournament.

The Bucs – who also won the U13 title two years ago as the Young Bucs – defeated Lacey (N.J.), 6-2, to win the title, scoring four unanswered goals in the second half with the use of several nifty two-man goals Interboro went 4-0 overall, also defeating 1620 Lacrosse, 8-5, Lacey Pride, 8-2, and the Brandywine Beach Dogs, 11-4.

The Bucs consisted of James Curtis, Chris Hummel, DJ Drohan, Quentin Frangelli, Zach Lloyd, Jimmy Moorhead, Ben Pagesey (goalie), Jacob Pfaff, Joey Pitts, Brandon Stouch and Tyler Murphy. The head coach was Brian Stouch, assistant was Lou Lloyd and associate coach was Eric Thomas, who was unable to play due to an injury.
