Longstreth girls’ recruit: Harriton rising junior Henderson commits to Lehigh

Harriton rising junior midfielder Jane Henderson has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.

What will you major in/study: Undecided

Why did you choose school:
“I fell in love with the campus and the lacrosse team. Lehigh offers an amazing education and lacrosse experience. I think it is a perfect fit for me.”

Outlook for your high school team:
“We are losing two incredible seniors, but have a strong team returning for next season. We plan to continue to work hard and go for the 2014 State Championship!”

Other comments: “I would like to thank Coach Dick for everything he has done to help me over the year to grow and become the player I am today. I couldn’t ask for a better coach to work with for Harriton and during the fall/summer with Quaker City! I want to thank the Quaker City coaching staff especially Coach Shapiro for helping me improve over the last few years and Mrs. Coach D for always being there! Thank you to Coach King and Mr. Ferguson. Also, thank you to all my teammates who supported me, I am very lucky to have such amazing teammates and friends!
