Tickets are on sale for the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Championship Weekend at PPL Park in Chester on August 24 and 25.

“Championship Weekend is one of our marquee events, capping our season with the four best teams in the League,” said MLL Commissioner David Gross. “The Philadelphia area is rich with lacrosse tradition and PPL Park is the perfect venue to showcase the best teams in MLL.”MLL-logo

The weekend will begin with the semifinals on Saturday, Aug. 24, followed by the final on Sunday, Aug. 25. The event will also feature the MLL Fan Zone an interactive area with fun and games for lacrosse fans of all ages.

Tickets for Championship weekend are on sale now and can be purchased by clicking here or by calling ComcastTix at 1-800-298-4200, or by visiting PPL Park in Chester, Pa., Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

PPL Park is the home of Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union and has hosted several NCAA Lacrosse games, including the inaugural Whitman’s Sampler Independence Classic this spring. It will serve as the host to the ACC Championships next spring and last November was the site for the Philly Charity Showcase.

The event is organized in conjunction with YSC Sports Marketing, a Philadelphia based sports and entertainment company that specializes in live events, sponsorship, television rights and consulting.
