Registration is open for the Young Warriors Boys’ and Girls Lacrosse Camps on July 29-Aug. 2 from 9 a.m.-noon at Penncrest High and Springton Lake Middle School. The camps are hosted by the Rose Tree Media Youth Lacrosse Club.Rose Tree Optimist Logo

The camps emphasize the basics, including: Skill Development, Rules of the Game, Team Tactics and Team Play.

The Girls’ Camp at Springton Lake Middle School is run by Alex Duckenfield, a standout at Division I Vanderbilt and All-American and All-Phillylacrosse.om pick at Strath Haven. It is staffed by Penncrest coaches and former Penncrest players. The camp is for girls entering grades 3rd to 8th at all skill levels. Participants receive Camp Pinnie.

Note - Some of the sessions will involve use of a hard ball and checking, appropriate to the age and size of players. The following equipment is required for girls: stick, goggles, mouthpiece and soccer style shoes

The boys’ camp at Penncrest High School is run by Penncrest High School Coaches Evan Pettit and Brian Swierczek, for boys entering grades 1-6, no experience required. It is staffed by Penncrest coaches and former players

Note – Some of the boys’ sessions will involve use of a hard ball and checking, appropriate to the age and size of players. The following equipment is required for boys:
stick
helmet
armpads
shoulder pads
gloves
mouthpiece
soccer style shoes

Hockey equipment is acceptable. A limited supply of equipment is available for use on a first-come, first-served basis: A deposit is required on helmets.
