Duke’s Jordan Wolf (Lower Merion), Penn’s Maxx Meyer, Dickinson’s Matt Cherry (Radnor) and Kenyon’s Jared Jacobs (Conestoga) have been named First Team Jewish Lacrosse All-Americans by the Jewish Sports Review.
Division I
Wolf, a junior attackman, had 57 goals and earned Second Team USILA All-American in leading the Blue Devils to the NCAA championship at Philly’s Lincoln Financial Field.
Meyer, a senior defenseman, had 36 GBs and 20 CTs and was named Ivy League Honorable Mention.
Division II-III
Cherry, a senior midfielder, helped the Devils win the Centennial Conference (undefeated) while earning First Team USILA All-American. He had 15 goals and 35 assists and added 22 GBs.
Jacobs, a freshman face-off specialist, won 179 of 273 face-offs (.656 percent) and grabbed 82 GBs. He has transferred to Wesleyan.
Meanwhile, Wesleyan junior defenseman Eliot Albert (Episcopal Academy) was named an Honorable Mention pick after collecting 39 GBs and 23 CTs.
