Boys’ youth lacrosse: West Chester wins CCLA U15A championship

West Chester took the U15A Championship for the Chester County Lacrosse Association Wednesday night with an 8-5 victory over the Collegeville Cougars at USTC.

A hard-fought battle between the top two teams in the league, Collegeville took a 4-3 lead into the 4th Quarter however West Chester came alive in the last 8 minutes to gain the victory. West Chester was led in scoring by Mike Fay with 3 goals 1 assist, Jimmy Gabrielsen with 2 goals, and Scotty White, Nick Mascetti and Dylan Teeter with 1 each. Jake Floyd Jones was stellar in the net with 11 saves in the victory.

West Chester finished the season 12-2-1.
