Longstreth girls’ recruit: Boyertown senior Piveteau heads to East Stroudsburg

Boyertown senior midfielder/defender Robyn Piveteau has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division II lacrosse and soccer at East Stroudsburg University.

Why did you choose ESU? “I really felt comfortable there. It’s not a dangerous environment. I got along well with the players and coaches during my visit. It really met my expectations and the size is perfect. It’s not too far away from home – just far enough.”

Expectations for college career? “I’m not expecting too much trouble playing two sports in college. I’m used to it. It keeps me disciplined. Soccer is more like work for me – lacrosse comes more naturally. I’ve been playing lacrosse since seventh grade.”

Reflections on high school career at Boyertown: “I made great friends and learned a lot. I was part of six PAC-10 championship teams, and that was special.”
