PIAA girls’ playoffs: Hendrick leads Manheim Township past Boyertown, 13-12

Molly Hendrick scored seven goals and notched the game-winner with 4.5 seconds to play, lifting Manheim Township to a 13-12 victory today over Boyertown in a PIAA first-round girls’ lacrosse playoff game at Exeter.

Manheim Township (21-4), the District 3 champion, advances to play Wyoming Seminary (a 13-3 winner of Lewisburg) Saturday at a site and time to be determined.

Alex O’Herrick led Boyertown (20-5) with four goals and Rachel Engler added three goals and an assist while Kait DeHaven had three goals.
