Friday’s HS roundup: Moorestown girls roll in SJ Group III semifinals

Marie McCool scored six goals as host Moorestown rolled to an 18-2 victory today over Toms River South in the South Jersey Group III semifinals.

Margaret Nissen added three goals and an assist for the Quakers (21-0), who are ranked No. 1 by Phillylacrosse.com and No. 3 in the country by TopLaxRecruits.com.

Moorestown will play Notre Dame in the SJ Group III finals Wednesday.

The Emmaus boys advanced to the PIAA championships and will play Wednesday at Nazareth vs District 3 runner-up Wilson-West Lawn.

Southern Lehigh’s girls will play District 3 runner-up Kennard-Dale on Wednesday in the first round of states.
