What will you major in/study? Science/Biology
Why did you choose CCSU? “It’s the perfect fit for me. When I walked onto the campus at Central Connecticut State, I was first blown away by the athletic facilities. Then when I started touring the campus, I realized that the academics were equally impressive. Since it’s a mid size school, they offer so many opportunities academically. But most of all, the coach Kelly Nangle is incredible and has done so much for the program in the two years she has been there. I feel like it’s an up and coming program.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “The outlook is bright as we just clinched the Suburban One Continental Conference this week. We are back to back Champions. We lost a lot of seniors last year but everyone is stepping up and we are getting the job done. We hope to go deep into the playoffs.”
Additional Comments: “I would like to thank first of all, my family, my Mom and Dad, brother and sister for supporting me 100%, taking the trips with me to visit the colleges and being there for me. I also want to thank Ultimate Goal Lacrosse Club coaches, Anne Pillion, Michele DeJuliis and Jen Duckenfield for all the time and effort they put into coaching me, and making me become a better player. They have been great mentors.
“I also want to thank my High School coaches, Duncan Swezey, Gab Stitz, Laura Swezey and Jennifer Forcey for all of your encouragement and guidance over the past three years. Also special thanks to Coach Deb Lawlor and Jennifer Forcey who taught me lacrosse at HGLC eight years ago and made me love the game.
“Big thanks also to all of the teammates I have played with over the years at HGLC, Hatboro- Horsham High School and Ultimate Goal Lacrosse. You all have always made it so much fun!”
