Boys’ lacrosse: Bishop Shanahan earns share of first Ches-Mont title

John Mehok scored four goals and Dylan Alderman added two goals and three assists to lead visiting Bishop Shanahan to a 10-4 victory over Kennett and a share of its first Ches-Mont League boys’ lacrosse championship.

The Eagles (12-3 overall) finished in a four-way tie for the crown with Great Valley, Downingtown East and Avon Grove.

Jack Oakes added two goals for Shanahan, which led, 10-1, early in the fourth period.

Kevin McQuiston had two goals and an assist for Kennett (12-6, 6-4).
