Ashley Tedesco and Emma Dahle both hit career milestones on the same day Monday as they reached 200 career goals for Friends’ Central in a 20-8 Friends Schools League victory over Moorestown Friends
Tedesco, a senior midfielder, scored four goals and dished off six assists. Dahle, a junior midfielder, pumped in five goals as the Phoenix improved to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the league.
Sophie Macfarlane added four goals and an assist and Jesse Rubin had two goals and two assists for Friends’ Central. Bianca Newton scored twice Abby Crowley had a goal and an assist while Kate Forrest and Lizzy Flick each scored once. Aubrey Faggen posted five saves for the victory.
Tedesco, signed with Lafayette, recently became Friends’ Central all-time scoring leader, erasing the mark of 356 points set last season by Becca Dahle, Emma’s sister. Tedesco now has 387 career points.
Emma Dahle is committed to the admissions process at Brown where she will join her sister.
