Young went to Haverford after six years of helping the University of Pennsylvania gain national prominence as an assistant, competing in the NCAA Final Four. Xan Weitzel is in her third season with the Wildcats of Villanova, working primarily with the attacking unit. She graduated from Boston University in 2010 and ranks third in program history for career assists. A two-time All America-East Conference selection, Weitzel competed in the NCAA Tournament during all four years of her collegiate career.

Assistant Coach: Lauren Sparks
Lauren Sparks returns to the Villanova sidelines for her second year as an assistant coach after serving as a volunteer for 2011-2012 season. Volunteer Assistant Coach: Josie Ferri
Josie Ferri joins the Villanova women’s lacrosse program for the 2012-2013 season as a volunteer assistant coach. Ferri graduated from Haverford College in 2012 and holds the program’s record for career draw controls and free position goals.
