Wednesday’s Delaware HS roundup:

Boys

St Elizabeth 12, William Penn 2

Four goals by Samuel Zingaro and three by Dominic Solge and teammate Christopher Truitt paced the Vikings of St Elizabeth to a 12-2 win over the William Penn Colonials.

Sussex Tech 15, Sussex Central 3

Five goals by Jeff Klabe, four goals by Willis Dickerson, and two by Jason Whaley paced the Ravens of Sussex Tech to a 15-3 win over Sussex Central.

Caesar Rodney 17, Milford 3

Four goals by Thomas Aloe, three goals by David Schmidt, two each by Eric Schaeffer, Kris Dejesus and Sean McLeish paced the Riders of Caesar Rodney to a 17-3 win over Milford.

Smyrna 7, Delmar 4

Two goals by Andrew Gilbert paced the Smyrna Eagles to a 7-4 win over the Delmar Wildcats. For the Cats, Ernest Leatherberry led with three goals.

Caravel Academy 15, Sanford 5

Five goals by Justin Laznik, four by Zach Ferguson and three by Wilson Forney paced the Bucs of Caravel Academy to a 15-5 win over Sanford Warriors.

Cape Henlopen 9, Dover 5

Three goals by Blake Mann, and two each by Todd Keen and teammate Michael Hopkins paced the Vikings of Cape Henlopen to a 9-5 win over the Senators of Dover High School. For Dover, Ryan McQuaide led with two goals.

Girls

Archmere 18, Sanford School 2

Five goals by Alyssa Salvitti, four by Charlotte Rath and Katelyn Payne, and two by Carolyn Dougherty paced the Lady Auks of Archmere to a 18-2 win over the Lady Warriors of Sanford School.

Brandywine 24, Glasgow 8

Eight goals by Erin Courtney, 7 by Holly George, and two each by Haley Richwine, Alex Jordan and Taylor Robinson paced the Lady Bulldogs of Brandywine to a 24-8 win over the Glasgow Dragons. This is Brandywine’s first win in 2013. Laura Fahy led with five goals for the Lady Dragons.
