The Pansini & Mezrow Law Firm is proud to recognize the following student-athletes as winners of the Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. Each winner receives a $50 gift certificate to Starbuck’s. Overall male and female winners at the end of the season will receive a large cash prize.

Boys’ honoreesHonor-roll

Greg Merrill, Great Valley, Junior Attackman

College Choice: Princeton University

Major lacrosse honors: Two-time All-Ches-Mont League pick; scored over 100 goals in first two years.

Service Projects: Great Valley Youth Lacrosse Association Assistant Coach for U-7 players; sold and delivered wreath for ManUp Lacrosse Club; Paoli United Methodist Church Christian Student Mission, worked as Camp Counselor assistant, fed homeless people in Philadelphia, raised money for local food banks in crop walk benefit, participated in Home of the Sparrow Work Day, sorted canned good donations for pantry for Salvation Army, worked in coffee house to benefit A.S.A. mission trip

Academic Honors: GPA is 4.1

Mark Lantieri, Upper Darby, Senior midfielder

Major lacrosse honors: Team captain; 37 groundballs, five goals, five assists this year; three-year starter

Service Projects: She has volunteered for the MS Walk in April as a volunteer with her team at Goshen Park in 2011 and at Ridley State Park in 2012; Volunteer at MS the last two years

Academic Honors: Ranked #1 in her class of 300 students. Taking three AP courses, National Honor Society, Foreign Language National Honor Society, SHS Service Club, 2012 US Lacrosse Academic All-American.

Ana DeJesus, John W. Hallahan Catholic, Junior offensive midfield

College Choice: Applying to Princeton, Penn, Penn State, Drexel,

Major lacrosse honors: Starter on Hallahan’s first-ever lacrosse team for school that opener in 1901

Service Projects: President of Model UN, Community Service Corps (CSC), Ambassadors, Tutoring

Academic Honors: GPA: 4.0; National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Ambassadors, President of Model UN

Other sports: Plays tennis, Co-Captain for track team.
