Defense: Gina Moore (12)
Defense: Tyisha Reddick (11)
Defense: Jenna Endy (10)

Coach’s comments: “We are running with a team of 18 from grades 9-12. We have a core group of returning players that are ready to challenge themselves each day. Without the ability to fully scrimmage in practice, transitioning will be key for us this year.”

Upper Perkiomen

Coach: Melissa Furey 7thseason

2012 Record: 6-12, 5-8 league

Returnees/players to watch:
Devon Kriebel (Midfield), first team All-PAC-10 Frontier Division
Kayla Smith (Attack)
Emily Leight (Attack)
Katy Lederer (Goalie)
Maddie Fox (Midfield)

Coach’s comments/outlook: “We lost a lot of our defense to graduation and have a lot of work to do to compete in the PAC-10 this year, but the girls are up to the challenge. We will be young but we have some promising talent in our underclassmen.”

Methacton

Coach: Laurie Markle 7thseason

2012 Record: 5-8 league, 8-10 overall

Returnees/players to watch: Returning varsity starters Megan Gehret Midfield; Kelly Glathorn midfield;, Alexa Maloney Attack

Coach’s comments/outlook: “We have a young team with only 5 seniors. We have a lot of young players that will be tested and will have to learn on the run. In our first couple of scrimmages we showed things I was not yet expecting from the youth so time will tell. I definitely feel that the beginning of the season will be rough on the youth but they learn quickly so we could end up fairly strong.”
