High School: Episcopal Academy

Graduation Year: 2013

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Hobart College

Club Affiliations: Rebel Elite, Duke’s LC

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Hobart? “I chose Hobart because it was the perfect fit academically and athletically. After my first visit in the summer, I fell in love with the intimate lakeside campus. The sense of family surrounding the Hobart lacrosse community was infectious. Meeting with Coach (T.W.) Johnson, Coach (Mark) Williamson and Coach (Chris) Scanlon helped me make my final decision.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We have a very strong team this year with 17 seniors. We were proud of the way we finished last year, but that is all behind us. We know we have to work even harder this year if we want to win the Inter-Ac. Our out of conference schedule has us playing against some of the best teams and players in the country. We are looking forward to the challenge.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank Coach Harry Sankey and Ryan Sankey from Rebel Elite. They gave me the push I needed to play beyond my potential and told me that I can succeed at the next level.

“I’d also like to thank Duke’s Coach Ebe Helm and Coach Jason Christmas for their guidance in the recruiting process. I especially want to thank EA Coach Andy Hayes – he made me the player I am today and believed in my ability to play Division 1 lacrosse.

“I would also like to thank my family for taking time out of their schedules to support me.”
