Winter Park (FL) senior LSM-defenseman Blake Bell has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Eastern University.

Blake Bell log:Blake Bell

High School: Winter Park High School, (North of Orlando), Fla

Graduation year: 2013

Position: LSM/Defenseman

College choice: Eastern University

Club affiliation: Team Florida

What will you major in/study? Business/Finance

Why did you choose Eastern? “When I visited, all the players were really nice and willing to get to know me. The whole vibe from the school felt really good and felt right. The smaller class size also drew me in for I would rather have the closer contact with my teachers and closer contact with the students. Also the campus itself is beautiful and I loved the facilities they have available for use at Eastern.”

Outlook for your high school team? “Currently we have very high expectations since we have other players going either D1 or D3 schools and are going to have starting positions their freshman year.”

Additional comments: “I can’t wait to be an Eastern Eagle!”
