Philly’s finest talent to be showcased when GMH, Mesa Fresh meet for Norm Treinish Thursday night championship at Malvern Prep

GMH and Mesa Fresh will meet tonight (6:30) at Malvern Prep for the Norm Treinish Thursday night championship of the Summer Lacrosse League of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

The game will feature numerous college and high school All-Americans. GMH (8-0), which defeated Mesa Fresh, 6-5, earlier in the season, features an attack of Colin Ambler (Abington, Penn), Ryan Ambler (Abington, Princeton), Mike Holloway (Malvern Prep, Villanova) and Owen Blye (Downingtown East, Maryland). The midfield features Ryan Cranston (Henderson, Lynchburg), Andrew Mackrides (Malvern Prep, Penn State), defenseman and brothers Chris Creighton (Malvern Prep, Villanova), Ryan Creighton (Malvern Prep, UNC) and Mike Creighton (Malvern Prep, Notre Dame) as well as goalie Austin Kaut (Sprngrfield-Delco, Penn State).

Mesa Fresh features an attack led by Jordan Wolf (Lower Merion, Duke), Steve Aitken (Haverford School, Penn State), Carl Walrath (Haverford School, Virginia) and Bradlee Lord (Conestoga, Maryland). The midfield features Chris Aitken (Haverford School, Villanova), Mike Rufo (Haverford School, Scranton), Matt Walters (Haverford school, Syracuse), Sam Rohr (Haverford School, Penn), face-off specialist Joe McCallion (Haverford School, Penn) and Ryan buttenbaum (Conestoga, Lehigh), defensemen Casey Ikeda (Conestoga, Maryland), Jamie Ikeda (Conestoga, Duke), Goran Murray (Haverford School, Maryland), Steve O’Hara (St. Joseph’s Prep, Notre Dame) and Jackson Place (Episcopal Academy, Bucknell), and goalies Conor Kelly (Haverford School, Notre Dame) and Dan Wigrizer (Haverford School, Duke).
